Tune in Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. on YouTube
First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro will be open for in person worship (for those who feel comfortable attending), beginning Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. Ushers please report at 9:45 a.m. The Portico doors open at 10:30 a.m.
Here are the TEN Commandments of COVID-19 Worship Guidelines:
Everyone shall enter the church through the Portico Entrance.
Ushers will be there to welcome and direct you.
A cloth mask covering the mouth and nose shall be worn at all times inside the church building. If you do not have a mask, there will be masks available at the door.
We shall practice social distancing by maintaining 6 feet between each other at all times.
Pews shall be marked with dots to provide guidance on socially distanced seating. The markers will indicate seating for a household—whether a household is made up of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 members—only one household per marked seat.
We shall not hug, kiss, shake hands, or pass the peace. We shall wave!
Those in the sanctuary shall only listen to the hymns and music. Only TLC shall sing.
We shall not pass the offering plates, but we will have offering plates to collect tithes and offerings at the door. You may choose to continue contributing via mail or internet.
There shall be NO NURSERY or CHILDREN’S CHURCH and children will NOT come down front for Jamie’s Children’s Message.
Thou shall not use the restrooms or water fountains in the church unless absolutely necessary. (You may bring bottled water to worship if needed.)
Ushers shall dismiss congregants by row, and we will all exit through the Portico doorway.

Butterfly Crafts for Nursing Home Residents
Children and families of First Baptist Church North Wilkesboro made and distributed over 160 butterfly crafts to Residents of Villages of Wilkes and Rose Glen Manor this summer. Proverbs 3:5 was printed on the back, to remind them to "Trust in the Lord." These were made so residents would know they haven't been forgotten during this pandemic. Here is Gracie Bare holding some of the crafts that were given to Tina Watkins of Villages of Wilkes.
