SAVE A PIG FUNDRAISER
FOR THE HOSPITALITY HOUSE
This past Sunday, February 21, if you didn’t have a chance to tune in to Worship, please do! Thank you Mike Bullock and Tamarah Cornette for your sweet words and your thanks to all those involved in the “Save a Pig” Fundraiser. It was a blessing to see the gift that our Congregation was able to present to Tina Krause, the Director of The Hospitality House. Our church family raised an outstanding $16,000 and Tina Krause shared thanks for our monetary gift, as well as the gifts of handmade pillow cases, which may be the only bright colorful gift that has ever been received by some of the children and teen recipients at The House. Thank you church family and friends!

Butterfly Crafts for Nursing Home Residents
Children and families of First Baptist Church North Wilkesboro made and distributed over 160 butterfly crafts to Residents of Villages of Wilkes and Rose Glen Manor this summer. Proverbs 3:5 was printed on the back, to remind them to "Trust in the Lord." These were made so residents would know they haven't been forgotten during this pandemic. Here is Gracie Bare holding some of the crafts that were given to Tina Watkins of Villages of Wilkes.
